January 1, Town’s Entire Police Department Resigns

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1997: Scientists announce the first human stem cells to be cultured in a laboratory using tissue taken from aborted human embryos.
In North Carolina, a small town’s entire police department has resigned.
Law enforcement officers and other department officials in Kenly, North Carolina, submitted their resignation letters en masse, citing stress and a hostile work environment.
Several resignation letters were made public after the mass resignation.
“It is with a heavy heart that I take this action,” officer G.W. Strong wrote. “I have been with the town since 2004 and fully expected to finish my law enforcement career with the Town of Kenly. Unfortunately, there are decisions being made that jeopardize my safety and make me question what the future will hold for a Kenly Police Officer.”
“I have truly enjoyed working for The Town the last four years,” wrote Christy Thomas, the town’s utility clerk. “Due to the current situations and the stress in the work area lately, my main concern is my health, and right now I need to focus on my wellbeing. The work area is very hostile and I will not let myself be around that kind of atmosphere.”
Police Chief Josh Gibson outlined his reasons in a letter to Town Manager Justine Jones, who was just hired in June.
“In my 21 years at the Kenly Police Department, we have seen ups and downs,” Gibson wrote. “But, especially in the last 3 years, we have made substantial progress that we had hoped to continue. However, due to the hostile work environment now present in the Town of Kenly, I do not believe progress is possible.”
According to local outlets, neither Jones nor the department has been willing to speak to the media regarding the complaints.

Gather the police and begin to pray together. God will hear and the wicked
woke lawless leaders will be removed. God loves Kenly and will show himself
strong if you pray together.
Justine Jones sounds like a pushy person who’s agenda is more important/RIGHT & has bounced around after other cities couldn’t stand her either!! Police in this day & age are smart enough to make the call on this jerky attitude.
You have to let those old bad deals go. they won’t do anything but drag you down, Allow some other men who believe in bull crap backwards enforcement or none at all perform their task, gather all the crooks and kiss their arse every morning.
There were 7 officers.
B safe officers u and your fam come first especially in evil times!!
Wake Up AMERICA……. Every time You see a Black Woman moving into a Position of Authority……ALL Kinds of Chaos seems to Happen. Best Example….The Chicago Mayor. ! ! Ole Lightfoot has done Nothing Good for Chicago. Kenly just might become a Small Chicago with an Already Disliked Woman moving into the Mayor’s Seat. Seems that we just keep seeing this same Scenario occurring Over and Over – Across the Country…….Makes You Wonder – Just where things are going and heading……………….AND – It isn’t Good. ! ! !
did you get a load of the Mayor in Atlanta…whew !!!!!!!!
What is it with those African American women that make them think they are nice when it comes to dealing with people and the police……………they seem to do and talk hatefully and are always making wrong decisions……..Its time to get rid of them all and especially the ones that are politicians.
