January 1, White House Official Defects to MSNBC
White House press secretary Jen Psaki is reportedly leaving her cabinet position, opting to accept an on-camera role with MSNBC instead.
Axios reported that Psaki is in exclusive talks with the cable news network and has been in close contact with the White House counsel’s office regarding her pending departure in May.
The outlet noted that Psaki has been “treading carefully on the ethics and legal aspects of her plans.”
Psaki will host a show for MSNBC on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, and also join the network’s live programming “as a voice on different shows, but she will not be hosting the 9 p.m. hour replacing Rachel Maddow, which has been speculated,” according to the report.
While Psaki has disclosed her plans to some senior White House officials, the press team has not yet been informed about her departure.
The news follows previous reports that Psaki was also in talks with CNN, where she worked as a commentator during the Trump administration.
A reporter asked Psaki if it was true she was leaving the White House to work for MSNBC, she said she had “nothing to confirm.”
“You can’t get rid of me yet,” Psaki said.

She has proven to be good at telling false narratives so will fit right in with MSNBC.. no change to ethics so she will do alright there as long as someone tune in.
She’s a perfect fit for PMSNBC. She’s been lying for 15 months now. She’ll keep doing the same thing but a different venue.
Easy to see why NBC et al might be the most corrupt news source on the planet.
Good riddance! The vast majority of Americans will never need to be exposed to the Red Witch again.
