January 1, Whoopi Goldberg Won’t Be on TV “For a While”
Don’t expect to see Whoopi Goldberg on The View for a while.
The 66-year-old is on location in Scotland filming an upcoming adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys for Amazon Prime.
“If you’re wondering where Whoopi is, the girl’s got a movie she’s making, and she will be back when she finishes whatever she’s doing,” The View co-host Joy Behar said. “So she’s gone for a while.”
Goldberg’s extended absence comes after she returned from a two-week suspension following controversial comments about the Holocaust.

That absence for Goldberg should be made permanent. Even by accident flipping past a TV channel with her there is too much angst at her for my taste. She is such a sick her…! Does that pronoun calm you down Joy..??
Goldberg is getting hard to look at as well as listening to, she’s so focused on pushing racism that it’s sad. Why can’t people talk to people without seeing just color? I used to watch her movies and liked them, like sister act, Ghost, the color purple. But nowadays she’s just pushing hate and racism! So no big loss if she just stays gone……
