January 1, 18K+ Christians Call on Rep. Lauren Boebert to ‘Repent and Resign’

Over 18,000 Christians have called on Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to “repent and resign for weaponizing religion” when she reportedly prayed for President Joe Biden’s death during a recent sermon at a Texas church.
An internet community of Christians, Faithful America, posted a petition calling on the congresswoman to privately repent, publicly apologize, and resign from her position as an elected official. The petition, which was first posted on Feb. 8, had garnered 18,377 signatures as of Friday afternoon.
“Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is known for weaponizing religion to seize power and restrict the rights of anyone different than her — but she just took the heretical twisting of faith to an entirely new level by appearing to actually pray for Joe Biden’s death,” the petition reads.
According to Faithful America, during a recent sermon at the Storehouse Dallas church, Boebert said: “We pray for our presidents. You know, [the Bible] says, ‘Let his days be few and another take his office.'”
“A misguided supporter could easily take them as a divine blessing to attack the president,” the petition reads. “Boebert claims she meant impeachment, but that’s an obvious ruse. Psalm 109 doesn’t just say ‘May his days be few’ — it goes on to say, as Boebert surely knows, ‘May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow!'”
Faithful America said the congresswoman’s “repeated misrepresentation of our faith pushes people away from Jesus Christ, harms both democracy and the church, and even risks further unholy violence.”
“Let us follow Jesus together by seeking love and the common good — not division and death,” the petition reads. “Please, for the good of the country and the Body of Christ alike, resign from Congress immediately.”

May his days be few and another take his office. Just saying. Have these same Christians taken up a petition to stop the gay and transgender grooming. How about our elementary school children being taught perversion in schools. How about the attacks on Christianity in general by the government. How about our god given rights of free speech and defense of life and property. Did these Christians petition the government when churches were shut down during the scamdemic. These are “Christians” who took advantage of what she said to hurt a REPUBLICAN congress person. If this was said during trumps presidency, it would have been ignored or celebrated by the left. Bret, thank you for your true, on point comments. If we don’t stand up to the evil inflicted on innocent babies, children & God fearing Americans, who will? Rep Boebert, did not lose her 1st Amendment Right, when she took the Oath of Office. How many Christian signatures did this Group obtain, when all them Dem Congressional lip flappers, screamed horrible, hateful rhetoric?? And continue to do so. Are these Christian people, Dem’s?
The petition starts out that boebert is known to weaponize religion to seize power, and restrict the rights of those different from her. Really? When? A specific example. An example is not that she believes grooming young children about gays and transgender and sexual perversion in public schools is evil. It is. This is right out of the democratic playbook. You believe the Bible so you hate gays and transgenders. These are not Christians. They are leftist doing what they do best.
The same Christians that that want her out are the same hypocrites that vote democrat. You cannot be a Christian and a democrat, it’s an oxymoron. Even the Pope has gone left. The first rule to seek wisdom is to fear God and to fear God is to hate evil. Everything the left, who are democrat, supports is evil. Therefore, to ask God to remove evil is not wrong or weaponizing, but is to seek God to address the problem just as David did in many Psalms for God to destroy his enemies.
