People from Boston are passionate about their Dunkin’ Donuts, and Academy Award winners are no exception.

Movie star Ben Affleck was spotted working at a drive-thru at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Medford, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, serving drinks to surprised customers.

Customers were stunned when they pulled up to grab their orders. One customer said Affleck handed them their money back and gave them their food and drinks for free.

Another customer, Lisa Mackay, told NBC 10 Boston that Affleck was “incredibly funny and quick-witted.”

The two-time Academy Award winner’s affection for Dunkin’ Donuts has been well-documented in the past.

In 2019, he talked to Collider about having Dunkin’ in Los Angeles. “It’s amazing! I have Dunkin’ Donuts everyday. It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, ‘Where is that? Is that near here?’ So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”

In 2020, paparazzi pictures of Ben Affleck struggling to carry his Dunkin’ Donuts order even inspired a meme.
