January 1, Pence gives an update on where he stands with Trump
Former Vice President Mike Pence said he “parted amicably” with former President Trump at the end of their respective terms in January.
Fox News host Sean Hannity asked Pence about his relationship with the former commander in chief amid their disagreements over Jan. 6.
“Look, you can’t spend almost five year in a political foxhole with somebody without developing a strong relationship,” Pence said. He went on to acknowledge that Jan. 6 “was a tragic day in the history of our country.”
“The president and I sat down a few days later and talked through all of it,” Pence said. “I can tell you that we parted amicably at the end of the administration and we have talked a number of times since we both left office.”
The former VP said he’s focused on the future, on helping the GOP gain House and Senate seats in 2022.
“For our part, I truly believe we all ought to remain completely focused on the future,” Pence said. “That’s where I’m focused.”

Maybe someone needs to ask both Pence and Trump what their definition of “Amicably” is? Seems like Trump is still railing on Pence and Pence is still trying to win the approval of his cruel master.
