Steve Bannon has been convicted of two counts of contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a subpoena from the Jan. 6 committee.

Bannon, who previously served as former President Donald Trump’s campaign CEO and White House adviser, faces up to one year in jail for each count.

According to a report, the federal jury reached a verdict after deliberating for less than three hours.

Prosecutors had argued that the case was “not complicated, but it is important.”

“When it came down to it, he did not want to recognize Congress’s authority or play by the government’s rules,” said assistant U.S. attorney Molly Gaston during her closing argument.

The committee’s subpoena, issued September 23, 2021, ordered Bannon to supply documents by October 7, 2021, and appear for a deposition on October 14, 2021.

Robert Costello, Bannon’s lawyer, had informed the committee that his client wouldn’t be complying because Trump had asserted executive privilege. Costello had also cited an ongoing civil case between Trump and the Jan. 6 committee.

Bannon’s sentencing is scheduled for October 21.

This BS will continue until the Democrats are removed from Congress! Hopefully, when the Republicans regain control of Congress, most of these Dem traitors will be tried for High Treason! The only Dems who have shown ANY loyalty to their oath of office, and the Constitution, are Senators Manchin and Synema! The rest of them are only loyal to the Party, and the Party backers, not to the Nation!

Quit beating this dead horse. We don’t care. Get over it.

The dems and Deep State think they will be able to break the spirit of people like Bannon. The British thought the same thing about the colonists 250 years ago and look how that turned out.
