January 1, “The View” Host Suggests Minorities Can’t Be Republicans

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin insinuated that racial minorities should only vote for Democrats, saying that Latino Republicans are voting “against their own self-interest.”
“That’s what’s so interesting to me that there are so many Latinos that vote Republican because they vote against their own self-interest,” Hostin said during Friday’s episode. “If you really are interested in these types of issues, then you’re a Democrat.”
This isn’t the first time Hostin has insinuated that racial minorities should only vote for Democrats. In May, she had a spat with co-hosts Ana Navarro and Lindsey Granger over their political stances.
“I don’t understand either of you,” Hostin said at the time. “I don’t understand Black Republicans, and I don’t understand Latino Republicans.” She said being a Black Republican is an “oxymoron.”
Hostin came under fire earlier this week over remarks about former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, suggesting she changed her name to conceal her Indian heritage.
The remarks caused controversy, with critics accusing Hostin of racial prejudice, Fox News reported.

Sadly wrong. Republicans and Democrats object to 1.2 million (?) of any group flooding across the border. Look what Dems did as soon as they had to deal with 28. Ignoring the process, we don’t have the infrastructure to handle this. It’s easy to hide the drug cartels, human traffickers, including children, terrorists, etc among. This completely political, not concern for people.
Why can these ill informed air heads repeatedly insult various ethnic groups and get nothing more than a slap on the hand. This show is an open forum for insults. They are all making big bucks doing this and they don’t know the history of the USA and which party has always championed for minorities. Please put something worth watching in that time slot.

Calling them air heads is giving them more credit than they deserve. The thought that anyone could be “informed” from anything coming out of this show is mind boggling.

I do not understand why this program is still being aired!! I tried watching it once, and that was a waste of my time! The women on that program are so full of themselves, their “views” are completely racist, ignorant and uninformed!! Replace it with a more meaningful program!!!

The government can only last so long when everyone is reliant on it. People succeed when they have self respect. Our government is in debt that we are going to lose everything. We lose our educated people to other nations. It feels good to give, but what happens when you have no food either. There is a limit .

Sunny Hostin is a joke. Next she’ll be insinuating that minorities can’t be guilty of being racist. Years ago I was in the military. We had a colorblind stance on things and everything worked out. Now we’ve got people making race an issue for everything. This makes things very difficult for those of us that have always been supportive of the minority!
